Hi friends,
The Cittadella Tennis Courts will finish its upgrade by the end of this week, and we foresee that it will be back in full operation on or before September 27, Saturday. The surface has been spruced up to eliminate imperfections and coated with a thick layer of rubberized paint (US Open blue). In addition, we added an apron that's one meter wide on the sides and two meters at the baselines (in green paint).
As many of you know, the foundation of the court is asphalt, then covered with a thin layer of concrete on top. The rubberized final coating further enhances the courts' 'springiness' and shock absorption. We did some informal testing of the new surface and we have observed that it will be easier on players' knees. We have observed too that we have achieved the desired result of slowing down the ball to more or less regulation speed for hard court surfaces.
We hope you'll visit soon and enjoy the courts even more than before.

ang alam ko ang shell court natin dito sa pinas ay considered as clay court. so pwede mo na i-consider ang mga shell courts na pinaglalaruan ninyo like sa paranaque city hall. ay ganun?! so complete napala mayroon natayong 4grandslam courts dito sa pinas... galeng.. |

sa las pinas po ito, along CAA road, covered courts po ito, i believe pwede ang walk-in player. you just need to pay the guest fee.

got to play at Citadella Tennis courts yesterday with my commander in chief, hsdev, etc. Naging parang rubberized yung finish ng courts!!!!! based on my conversations with hsdev, soloworx has lots of other plans to improve the tennis club including the staging of a 1 day team tennis tournament. Thanks a lot soloworx!!!!!Mabuhay ka!
