Hi all! I was pleasantly surprised that there are many tennis clubs that have added their details already here at PTO. I was thinking if we could have a TP.org/PTO interclub tournament. I think mas madali ito because members of each club meet regularly. Then we choose na lang kung sino ang host per tie. Meron kasi na Interschool Tennis Association (ISTA) although at ISTA, isa lang ang venue lagi.
We just need to determine the format much like what Darkwing and Leo and Francis did during the 2nd PTO/TP.org anniv. We also need to decide kung yung games played during the interclub could be credited to the individual PTO/tp.org ladder.

This is absolutely a great idea. Inter-club tournament will bring the best of Philippine Tennis.
My recommendations for a format is:
Create 3 flights. Level A, B, and C.
Level A is for 4.0+
Level B is for 3.0 - 3.5
Level C is for 2.5 and below
You will have singles matches and of course doubles. Each match won earns a point. At the end of the season top 2 team will play for finals/championship.

Wala naman problema dito. Kahit anong groupings ok din sa akin kung tennis lang. Hindi nga lang yun yung pagkakaintindi ko sa suggestion ni LVL na Inter-club.

hehe yes, since the beginning of time meron ng ganitong plano. Parang ulan... minsan susulpot tapos biglang mawawala hehe. Dati ang plan parang tennis league per area... merong team ung QC, Paranaque, Cavite, etc. I suggest meron mag-head or lead nitong endeavor/project na eto para matuloy... meron bang volunteer?  |
