Tennis club founded in 1964, located within the University of the Philippines at Los Baños campus. Primarily for members only, membership is usually restricted to personnel, members of the faculty of the University as well as for personnel of the several institutions in and around the University campus such as the Int'l Rice Research Institute and the several government agencies located nearby. Recently however, restrictions have been relaxed a bit so if you are a tennis enthusiast and are a member of the Los Baños community or nearby towns, even if you aren't with UP, you can apply. The CCC is the premier tennis club in Los Baños, located in the foothills of Mt. Makiling right next to the Makiling forest, we are friends with quite a few tennis clubs in Metro Manila and Laguna and other places and often have yearly dual meets. Guests are welcome to play at our club, visit us anytime! Thank you very much.

Is this the one with 2 shell courts?  I think I was there when I was a kid.  Pero di ako sure sa tagal na non.

Maybe, but our club which is on a mountain side and is next to the University Health Service or hospital and used to have 3 courts. 2 in front of the clubhouse and one behind and downstairs. Court #3 was damaged beyond repair by the last super typhoon Milenya and could not be rehabilitated and has now been reclaimed by the Makiling forest.

The other clubs here in UP Los baños are the former LOBTEC(Los baños Tennis Club) which is now managed and operated by the UPLB PE Department and the relatively new MakTec which has 2 courts and is on top of a hill in the College of Forestry campus.
Three clubs in all, each one independent of each other yet although we are members of only one club at a time usually, we can play at any club when the need arises. All three are very active clubs. We have a yearly tri-meet just to spice things up a bit.

Nice Mich. I was able to check out the one at the College of Forestry, we were supposed to play there when it suddenly rained. Ask the guys at your club to also visit this site. You're pretty much welcome and hopefully we can set up some sort of a dual meet in the near future.
