The so called break-in period for each shoe differs. There is no clear cut duration in which every shoe can be considered broken-in. Only the person wearing them can say if the shoe has been broken-in properly. But with the advancement in shoe technology, most shoes now-a-days has a shorter brake-in time as compared to shoes of yore.

I agree with @darkwing. In my experience, I can tell if the shoe fits and wears well even at the time that I buy them. For this reason, I stick to Adidas models that are specific for tennis.
OT: How often should you change your tennis shoes? I ask this because like in jogging, experts say that most running shoes should be changed after 350 to 500 miles or every 6 months (whichever comes first) because the EVA material gets compressed and loses its shock absorption property.

korek sila, shorter brake-in time, at addidas shoes for tennis, coz un nun bumili ako ng new addidas, nde ko na, na brake-in, ginamit ko na agad sa games, ok naman sya nde naman ako nagka blister, so kailangan mo ng good tennis shoes at sukat syo... yun na yon.. tennis na..

most tennis shoes especially adidas no longer requires breaking in. as they recommend pero break in mo na lng din, trying using them while doing your grocery or just use them to walk in the mall doing window shopping. In my experience 2 days kong break in yung shoes ko.
As for replacing them, i read in one article that usually varsities in the states ncaa division 3 replace their shoes every season so malamang for a period of 3 to 6 months continued use, kasi araw araw sila kung mag practice. Sabi naman ng cousin ko who worked for nike as long as the soles are not yet worned out pwede pa, Napupudpod daw yung soles nung shoes pag wala ng shock absortion yung soles nya assuming na nde mo kinakaskas yung ilam nung shoes pati yung mga crease sa side nung soles makikita mo na pag medyo wala ng shock absorption yung shoes mo.
In my opinion locally adidas has more choices than nike in terms of tennis shoes, meron pa silang customization known as mi adidas thats the same as the customization the pros use, hehe kaya lng medyo pricey pero kung nde pantay yung mga paa mo good buy eto, hehe.
