Are there any tennis tournaments that beginners can join? I read the other post, i'm probably a level 2.5 player..just started, but i'm looking forward to joining some sort of tournament where there is a beginners section. meron bang ganun? saan? kelan?

kung gusto nyo sumali ng newbie tournament meron sa Sto nino tennis club sa pacita complex lagi kami nag oorganize ng tennis tournament para sa begginer and class b.. every december meron cguro pang 5th year n ngayon...

newbie tennis tournament? i'm not into that kasi baka magkaroon ng gap tayo dito sa group... kung may 2 newbie, partner-an ng 2 mejo magaling and voila! doubles na... mas masarap and mas masaya kung marami naglalaro di ba?
well, that's just my two cents worth of opinion lang naman...

* Kung meron pang gustong sumali... wag kayong mahihiyang mag-reply.
Kelangan natin i-decide yung date and venue ng tournament... so pedrolabasulo, Jun9195 and ahldrin pili kayo:
Date of tournament:
April 14 (Sat), April 15 (Sunday),
April 21 (Sat), April 22 (Sunday),
April 28 (Sat), April 29 (Sunday)
Place of tournament:
Wala pa akong idea. I think we need to rent a court for half-day. So guys let me know kung may alam kayong available court. Taga-QC ako pero am willing to travel...
Since konti lang tayo, I was thinking na round-robin tapos 1 set lang para masaya hehe. Tapos tulong-tulungan n lang tayo... habang nglalaro ung iba... mag-umpire and linesman ung iba.
Nga pala, I recently suggested about our very own Philippine Tennis Online Ranking system. I will suggest that points will be earned through this tournament.

di ako sure ng April 22, depende sa pagpunta ko ng palawan... Pero April 28 onwards pwede na ako... I'm willing to travel din kahit taga malabon city ako... basta may direction, kahit san ok ako... sobrang beginner lang ako.. pero ok lang... gusto ko lang talga maglaro... |

ok din ang olivares. 3 shell courts and 2 hard courts, indoors pa, hindi mainit. may isa ding outdoor court dun sa ayaw ng covered. hehehe...
ang problema lang kapag olivares e reservation lalo na kung weekends. pero kung weekdays, hindi fully utilized ang mga courts kaya okay lang.
rizal memorial courts are normally available during weekends. mas gamit kasi mga courts doon on weekdays. kabaligtaran ng olivares. so this is another alternative. mas mura pa ang charge compared sa olivares. yun nga lang open court.

according kay sir francis dun sa isa nyang post... ang rates sa rizal is : " P100 on regular days e.g. mondays thru fridays excluding holidays. pag weekends naman P160. daytime lang ang laro. hindi sila nagpapalaro sa gabi."

Ayan tamang tama... kelangan ko ng tulong sa pag-organize. I'm currently out of the country right now so most likely kelangan ko ng tulong sa pagreserve. Matagal p naman ung schedule ng tournament. Once malapit na ung deadline i-clo-closed na natin ung registration tapos pa-reserve tayo.
