Hi lvl, i've talked to Ms Dollete, the tourney for the Ladies Tennis League is an Inter-Club activity. There are some restrictions for the said tournament like players should not be philta ranking, 30 years old and above, level categories are Class A & B only (omg) hehehe..... Entry fee is P5,500 per team.  The team should compose of 4 players maximum of 8.  Deadline of entry up to this week. I also learned that there are already 12 teams joined already.

Thanks for this info.  If there are PTO/tp lady tennisters who are interested, I believe we can field a team in class B.  The main objective here is to expose the PTO/TP ladies to club level competion.  What do you say?  Any takers?

Get those racquets all sharpened up for an inter-club team tennis tournament “ ALABANG TENNIS LEAGUE (ATL)” on August 4-22, 2008 at our shell courts here at Ayala Alabang Country Club. Big preparations are being undertaken to ensure this to be one memorable event with at least P20,000 cash prizes at stake on top of the trophies and lots of raffle prizes and give-aways!

There will be three divisions: Class A, Class B and Seniors-60 & up (for the first time on a formal scale). As the saying goes “the more, the merrier”, so we will be accommodating a maximum of eighteen (18) teams per division. And to further make this tournament irresistible, each club or team will only pay a very affordable joining fee of P5,500 for the entire tournament inclusive of all fees (guest fees, court fees, ball boys, umpire).

A general meeting of team captains is scheduled on June 11, 2008 at 10:00 am, Alabang Country Club Tennis Court to discuss the details on the mechanics and rules of the tournament. The deadline for the submission of entries will be on July 4,2008.
