Medyo hit and miss pag dumadaan sa post office.  Kung minsan direcho sa house mo and kung minsan naman you'll get a note that you have to pick it up sa post office.  If you have to pick it up in the post office that's when they'll inspect the item and charge you for taxes.

If you use FEDEX they'll be the one to pay the customs and taxes and charge it to you when they deliver the items to your doorstep. Ang masama dito wala kang kawala kase kung ano ang i-charge sa FEDEX yun ang babayaran mo di ka makakapag reklamo. Unlike sa Post Office na pwede mo i-argue sa customs officer yung tax.

It's best to use a freight forwarding company like Johnny Air Cargo and POBOX to avoid the risk of getting exorbitantly taxed.
I ordered a pair of shoe, 2 shirts, 1 wristband, 2 bandanas, 2 headbands and 1 wrist support from Tenniswarehouse and had it delivered sa NY Johnny Air Cargo.  Cost me 2.3k for the shipping from JAC. Took only a week to arrive at their SM megamall office. What I like about TW is sealed pa talaga yung Nike shirts nila unlike the shirts I bought from ebay. It also comes with return postage in case you want to return an item (only applicable in the US).
