Treat Huey is in the round 2 of the qualifying of this ATP tournament in India. He beat Anash Wagh of India 6-2;6-4 and will play journeyman Rik Van Roest of South Africa next.

Huey lost 3-6;4-6. He is still in the doubles with partner Devarrman and will play Leander Paes and Janko Tisparevic in the first round.
