I heard from a footwear industry insider that Fila could come out with a tennis version of their Skele-toes line.  No such news from rival Vibram Fingers

A skele-toes for tennis? I don't really believe since its "Skeletonic design" would look awful on tennis games

Raketwiz sir what is your opinion on this?

The premise is that our feet evolved without shoes so optimal foot function is achieved when we’re barefoot.  Our foot has five toes that act interdependently and a structure that adapts to infinite variables dynamically.  Regular shoes can't do that. It basically constricts and impedes our feet’s natural movements.  In this case, the body has to compensate for this “unnatural” situation and may contribute to injuries. So, a shoe that can allow the natural movement of the foot could maximize the foot’s function thus resulting in optimum performance.

I’ve heard a lot of good things about this shoe from hikers and runners I know so I ordered this shoe just to use casually in lieu of slippers or sandals. If they come up with a tennis shoe model, I’ll be up for trying it out.  The only problem is, where the heck am I gonna get the socks?
