grip size 4 3/8.
when i ordered yonex rackets from Tennis Warehouse, the engraved serial number indicates "US" but this one indicates "SP" (Singapore?).
i bought the racket in Hong Kong.

Okay, I see there are non-Japan Yonex racquets.  No offense about your racquet LTA. I was kidding about the racquets TG mentioned are in megamall.  Grin

my understanding is they are all made in Japan (as indicated in the paint job) but there are, I suppose, "distribution centers?" as included in the engraved serial numbers.
the rackets distributed in the US has the "US" engraving and the ones distributed in our spot here in Asia has the "SP" (Singapore?).
i believe they are indeed made in Japan, considering the craftsmanship and the balance.
i own 3 RDiS 100mids grip size L5 and I've measured the same balance points.
i also own a VCore100S, VCore95D and RDis 100midplus and the balance points I've measured are within the indicated tolerances.
But anyway, I don't mind even if they are made in China as long as the quality control is very good.
I have 2 KPS88 made in China and their balance points that I've measured do not match and so do my 2 K90s.

I agree with you, LTA.  It's ultimately the quality control that ensures the quality, no matter where the racquets come from.  Nonetheless, the label 'Made in Japan' still carries a quality edge for many (including myself, I admit Smiley ), whether perceived or actual.
And I envy your Yonex collection. Smiley

His volkl PB10's are also nice!  Grin  Maybe I shouldn't log on to PTO until those babies are sold it's too tempting but i'm just getting to know my POG's and so far it's been a sweet affair.  BTW LTA were do you get your lead tapes?

PS Hope that you didn't get offended by the inquiry.  There was no malice intended with the inquiry.  The ones in megamall clearly states that it is made in china and they were selling it at around 5k brand new, but the quality looks different from the one in glorietta which is made in japan.

I checked out the Yonex store in SM MegaMall today.  The pro models (VCore, EZone, RDis, RQis, etc) are all made in Japan, too.
It's the low-end models (I forgot which one) that are made in China/Taiwan.
The store has a few selection of tennis racquets, and seems more focused on badminton.
