There is a strong ITF womens 10.000 $ tournament starting today at Rizal memorial. Here is some good news. THe younger Patrimonio sister, 18 years old, bet a russian ranked 650 in the world (womens) and ranked 44 (girls u 18).

I think this is Anna Clarice biggest win in her career. We congratulate her. She has such good athletic capability, height, footwork, power...and yet her results has not been so strong. It seems she often plays some great games and then lose form, make a lot of errors, and lose important points. But this is really great, excellent.

Yes a very good win by Clarice, the Russian is a pretty good player with decent results in the past few months.

Good number for Pinays.  But apart from the 3 (Nguyen, Capadocia and Patrimonio),  we also have Fil-German Lehnert in the 2nd round.  So that makes it 4 Pinays. 

Am not sure but is Sylvia Krywacz (USA)a fil-am?  Also, is Alannah Jessica Mendoza (USA)also a fil-am? 

About Lehnert, how come she's not part of the SEA games team?  She'll surely be an asset to the team.
