Seeing the broken racquet, I wonder if Sampras ever broke a racquet. I'm guessing never. But does anyone know?

yup he most certainly did after all he is human and i think those pics are from pete's stock. Since his tension is so high i've seen him break rackets just by mishitting the ball. I recall one time he was returning one of goran's serve and his racket literally almost broke in half How about this video... Sampras' serve goes through Rafter's strings!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1VajDAbK_as

I've been reading user reviews on the ProStaff 6.0. It would be awesome to wield this weapon and experience what the rave is all about, firsthand. But alas, it requires physical attributes I don't have. There was even someone who said he would use this stick in the first set. Then in the second and third sets when their arm is tired, use a more forgiving stick like the KFactor 90. Interesting concept, maybe worth a try!

I used to have the 85's a while back and sold it to another PTO member (mikki) cause I was associated with another brand before. The 85's sweet spot is so much sweeter than any of 90's, it's hard to explain you have to experience it, specially if you just get the right tension, the pop you get is worth the weight of the 85's. The weight makes it very stable even if the racket is so head light... you can try it and i know someone who is willing to buy it if you don't like it

Ang daming gumagamit ng racket na to na mga superstar sa tennis during the 80's and early 90's. Pete Sampras, Jimmy Connors, Jim Courier, Stefan Edberg, Chris Evert to name a few. Binalik na nila yung Wilson ProStaff 6.0 and POG. Ang best racket ng Wilson at Prince. Sana yung Head Protour 280/630 din. Na talagang ginagamit pa ng mga pro hanggang ngayun.

Got them before from holabird at $60 each brand new sobrang sulit, now it goes for around $100> for a used one on ebay Not as heavy as the 85's, the original prestige and the POG OS but plays just as sweet. If ever Head decides to sell these again i'll get a bunch in a heartbeat here's an alleged pic of a protour 280 with CAP head guard in LM Prestige PJ on sale for $200 AUS

And when you do, the shot is really solid. I can only imagine the 85 probably takes it to another level. I would try the 85 if I were 10yrs younger, or with 10lbs more muscle and as much less fat , but at this time my Yonex gets me thru! I used to know someone who used the Puma Boris Becker racquet of the 80s. I think they were even called Estusa back then. He loved them so much, one racquet was already cracked, but he still played with it. His one handed backhand down the line was just sweet and solid. I think his racquet largely made the shot possible.

Yes Sir, ako din one of my favourite racket is the Prostaff 6.0 95. All-court racket talaga, tapus comfortable sya kasi maganda yung flex nya. Mejo magaan sya ipalo, parang kulang ng plow-through, hindi naman ako mahilig mag add ng lead tape. pero i want a heavier version. Actually, parang k61 tour lang talaga performance ng 6.0 95 although mas solid ang k61 tour because of the added weight and stiffness. Downside lang, mas nakakapagod gamitin k61 tour if topspinner ka. Kung flat hitter ka, hindi gaano. Kala ko nga yung Dunlop Biomimetic 200 eh same playing characterictics ng 6.0 95 kasi halos pareho ng specs(although the 6.0 has more open string pattern). Pero laki ng pinagka-iba lalo na sa power level.. Kaya benta ko nalang bio 200 ko. The Prostaff 6.0 95 is under the kfactor PJ na pinagtripan ko gawin

I just saw some of the 2012 Wilson rackets. Very much like classic ProStaffs, with hard edges, but with paintjobs similar to the BLX's. Wala pa sa website, not even in Wilson's. Very tempted to demo them.
