i'm planning to buy a babolat pure drive lite. i'm thinking if which of rpm blast or hurricane feel would give the racket a better performance. any suggestions? Smiley

Both string not good. Racquets under 290g should stay away from stiff strings, try x code, dura mix or any multi filament string

ohh. i've strung my racket with rpm blast 16g at 60lbs because I've read 2 reviews that they match well with that string.  Grin

Reviews are always subjective.  Two “good” reviews does not a consensus make.  Players have different styles and strokes, and have different interpretations of what “performance” means to them within the context of their game.  No matter how good the racket/string combo supposedly is, it means nothing if the skills are lacking and the strokes are out of whack.

Ultimately, only you can say what works for you.  Although it can be a pricey pursuit, experimenting with different types of strings (monos, multis, polys, etc) will give you a good understanding of how strings make a difference in your game.

I don’t know anything about your game, but based on your racket choice, I think renald’s suggestions are a good place to start.

i just tried to play with my racket this morning and it is the best racquet so far that i've ever used. it's true that rpm blast and pure drive lite have a great combination. i'm amazed with the added spin and power in my strokes. =)

by the way, what i had mentioned in my post is hurricane feel, the blue string. it's aspects are very different from rpm blast. you might were confused with pro hurricane, as pro hurricane is sort of similar to rpm blast. anyway, i appreciated your advices.  Cheesy
