Jeson rallied from 6-2;4-1 down to defeat Julien Lenz 2-6;6-4;6-4.  Yan ang maganda kay Jeson may puso maglaro... he has now won 11 of his last 13, 3-set matches, a stat even the pros would be envious of.  Grin

@Tennis King

You forgot to mention another Fil-Am in the Girls' Singles draw: Gabrielle Faith Andrews.  Her mother, Evelyn is Filipina while her father Mike Andrews is Black American.  She has been featured in Balitang America this year.  Such a great prospect. Just 15 years old.

Unfortunately, she lost a tough three setter to hometown girl 18 year old Ruth Seaborne in the first round of Wimbledon.  Still a good showing for a first timer.

Andrews is somebody to look forward to... only 14 years old and already ranked 49 in the world.  Last year she was a finalist at the Easter Bowl one of the biggest tournaments in the US.
