practice..it's basically the same as a slice shot..i think it can't be taught however..you need that touch to make the ball go in as near and as low to the net as possible

It's a slice shot...give the ball a bit of an arc to clear the net...the rule of thumb is if the ball bounces twice within the service box then its a pretty good drop shot.

a slice shot.  normally, the follow through stops when the racquet face is parallel to the ground.  it can also be produced with a full follow through.

as daryl has said, it's a touch shot.  make sure your arms are relaxed during the stroke.

hard to describe slice vs drop shot motions.
for me the main difference is the feel. 
for drop shot, i "feel" the ball more - contact time with the strings is longer.
for slice shot, i "push" the ball more - but with an open racquet face like in the dropper.
