Heard there was an upcoming tournament at Acropolis. Does anyone have any info about it like if its Open or Invitational,  the dates, categories, formats etc?..  Anyone??...

Hi All.. I passed by Toby's and saw posters and flyers for the upcoming Philta-Toby's Age Group Tournament starting next Monday May 19-25. Interestingly in addition to the usual ranking categories they also are holding novice/beginner non-ranking junior events in 16u and 12u.. So if anyone knows some novice juniors who are giving thought to competing this seems like a great opportunity to put their skills to the test. Its only P300 per event with free T-shirt too. Deadline is Sat 5pm and entry forms can be filled in and left at any Toby's outlets..

As for me I'm thinking of bringing a kid down from here in the Agoo Tennis Club to try his luck.

(FYI, I also noticed the fllyer says the deadline is Saturday May 16, 2008 but in fact May 16 is today Friday - so I called the Futures tel# and was told that they would accept entires made by Saturday 5pm)..
