Hinde considered Open doubles tournament ito dahil may minimum age requirement ang isang partner, yung isa naman may maximum age. Ibang klaseng partnership rin ito, ngayon lang yata magkaganito. Kung ang magpartner kasi ang isa 49 at ang isa 50 and above, puede na tawagin ito seniors. Siguro classification nito senior-non-senior doubles tournament, dahil yung 50 and above senior na, yung 49 and below hinde pa. Open lang ito in the sense na any team in the Philippines or the rest of the world can join, pero hinde open in the sense na anybody regardless of age and whether a tennis professional or not can play.

here, we have a tournament 100 years doubles tournament. combined the age of paired team equivalent 100 yrs. old. 49+51=100 40+60, baka ito ang ibig sabihin nitong tournament na eto which is open as long as the total age is 100 over.

Sino senior partner nyan, hinde senior sa edad ha. Naka 3 weeks na rin ako practice para sa skills test. Hirap yong 7 consecutive volleys back to feeder within 6 feet. Problema feeder malapit sa baseline kaya hinde talaga six feet radius dahil pag lampas siempre out. Anyway, mga 4 weeks pa practice.  Pero yung ibang skills test mukhang kaya.

Kausap ko si Oldskul, pinapupunta ako sa Nagoya, sabi ko may circuit si Leo, at ang ibang player ko sa Kyoto this first week of April, wala akong time maka punta sa Nagoya, well, good idea dapat pumunta na lang sila dito malapit sa atin, hindi ko puedeng iwanan tong players ko at ang ibang lesson ko, bad timing ang punta nila.  Pag tapos tuloy daw sila ng India.

You're right! It's considered "Open" because everyone is welcome as long as they qualify with the age requirement. It was the format the Organizers formulated and will be using so you guys are welcome if you do decide to join, again as long as you and your partner qualify with the age requirement.

May libro yan mga 300 pages, tapos player development another 100 pages. Hinde problema pasahin, problema kung maka pro 1, kailangan maka 90 out of 100 questions correct para pro 1. Sa skills dapat kaya pro 1, problema baka kabahan pag exam dahil siempre matagal na walang competition, baka bumaba accuracy, e puro target zone ang skills test.

GENERAL INFORMATION

I.   DATE OF TOURNAMENT

May 10, Saturday and May 11, Sunday 2008

II.   PLAYING SCHEDULE

6 AM – 10 AM - Morning Schedule
2 PM – 6 PM - Afternoon Schedule
Note: The Tournament Committee has the sole discretion to determine the match ups and schedules to ensure fairness and competitiveness of the teams.

III.   QUALIFICATION

Participants must be physically fit with no adverse medical condition whatsoever at the time of the tournament.

IV.   METHOD OF COMPETITION

1.   Competition shall be DOUBLES. One partner must be 49 years old or below and the other partner must be 50 years old or above, or Both partners are 50 years old and above.

Participants are advised to bring documents such as birth certificates in case their age eligibility is questioned.

2.   Ten Games (1-10) per match will be played from 1st round to quarterfinals. 9-all will merit slide2 and the usual tie-break will ensue incase of 10-all.Semi-final and championship matches shall be played in 2 out of 3 sets.

3.   Other pertinent rules will be given during the briefing. However, all matters and conditions not provided for will be referred to the PHILTA Rules should there be any question or dispute.

heh heh.. (I got eyes like a bat, my feet are flat and my arthitis getting worse) can I still play?? Joke lang of course... I hope to see u guys there.. that is if my lateral epicondilitis does not act up... (that's the medical term for tennis elbow)...

BTW, if you are suffering from "lateral epicondilitis" , my ortho  is discouraging me from playing due to my "osgood schlatter's disease.... an abnormal bone formation on knee area caused by rapid growth spurt,, typical to growing teenager like me...hehe Joke.

I've got Anxiety Disorder, lots of Phobias, specially of high places, my blood pressure is normal but I have a symptoms of high and low blood pressure, I have knee problem and elbow problem and got a GallStone as big as the tennis ball 
But my main problem is my "TOMGULITIS" its the medical term for lack of budget to go there

I've got Anxiety Disorder, lots of Phobias, specially of high places, my blood pressure is normal but I have a symptoms of high and low blood pressure, I have knee problem and elbow problem and got a GallStone as big as the tennis ball 
But my main problem is my "TOMGULITIS" its the medical term for lack of budget to go there

At least, one thing is sure, it will give us something to annoy other players with.lol
