Well as for me I think u can do such shots (flat using full western) if u hit the ball on your sweet spot meaning not all the time coz it's impossible. Of course, it depends on your opponent's ball hitting if u know what i mean  Wink

ako full western hawak ko pero from my observation, nababago yung impact nung palo ko sa bola dependa sa swing. kung meron on forward motion yung swing ko, that's when I usually hit the ball flat and madiin. kung upward motion naman, yun yung may spin ng konti.  Cheesy

Magsisimula yung bola sa baba tapos tataas (over the net) tapos bababa ulit dahil sa topspin.

Just like any other shot, kung wala sa strike zone mo ang contact point, just play a defensive or neutral shot.

Recap lang.  Una sa lahat, siguraduhin mo na nasa tamang position ka para paluin ang bola at ang contact point mo ay between your hips and chest.  On your racket take back, level the racket head with the contact point.  To apply spin, follow through with your nomal finish (could be over the shoulder or windshield wiper).  Habang sinusubukan mo pa lang ito, slow and deliberate motion muna hanggang makuha mo yung idea.

Hope this helps.  Let us know how it goes.
