Another milestone.
Most members know that after the very successful Christmas Party in 2008 our Christmas Party last year didn't push through because everyone was busy. This year nothing has changed. Everyone was still very passionate about the sport but the reality is, it has to take a back seat. Everyone has to work hard for their future and their family's welfare. But we won't allow something as mundane as work to let us miss two important group activities in a row. This year's Anniversary Celebration was a success thanks to our major sponsor, Racketwiz. The clinic conducted by the Arcilla's was made possible by him. Thanks also to the ever supportive Addie_56ers, Rondiz09, Larry_674. Miss Liza Tang of Dynamic Sports and SRI thru Kilua, fellow PTO Member, for the items we gave away during the raffle. Committee Chairpersons, Edreams, Jc and Knubil, your contribution and leg work is very much appreciated. Hiromi, despite being just a few days away on the family way still showed up and helped. Team Leaders, Whizzard, Penny Hardaway, Meng and Addie, job well done guys. Cittadella Tennis Club for reserving the court for our use on a Saturday. Pres. LVL, who despite his busy sked never failed to coordinate w/ me on the progress of the event. Partner Jeff and Harry who was there to assist us. and Francis. without you bro everything would have been very chaotic. and of course all the members who showed up and joined in the celebration. No amount of work done by the organizers and funding by the sponsors alone can make an event a success without the support and attendance of the populace. Your presence made the event the success that it attained and for that I thank each and everyone of you! Yes, we missed the company of our old friends but getting acquainted with new ones made up for it. Hopefully next year our old friends would be free and join us plus new ones from the growing family of TennisPhilippines.Org/PTO. THANK YOU AGAIN! Till next year.
