Trash talk (not thrash talk) is used to intimidate opponents or insult them so they loose concentration. My advise is to ignore him, keep focus on your concentration and win the game. This would be the biggest insult to the trash talker. |

i tried to do that... but its too late... we played doubles and the score is 8-0 ... even my team m8 had his concentration gone... and btw we played like 6 matches straight
... my serves were i think cheated... cause they cant see my serve... then theyre saying its fault...and even that dumb umpire... but u know... our lvl is alot higher than our foes

wow di makita ang serve hanep hahaha... you know in doesnt really matter in the long run, trash talking that is. just loosen up, after all hindi naman siguro magtrash talk ung mga hindi masyado magkakakilala.. just have fun.

8-0 because of trash talking? If your level is much higher than your opponents(like what you are saying) it doesn't matter what they say or do behind the net. So long as they don't physically hold you down when you are serving it shouldn't matter. Tsaka gaano ba kalakas magsalita yung kalaban mo? Just don't pay attention to them.
I disagree with your assumption that your opponents are much weaker than your team, like what you would want us to believe. It's very hard to score a love set in doubles unless the teams aren't evenly matched. So much so that in our club if you lose at love, you have to buy a gallon of ice cream.

Trash talking tennis players are annoying, so I avoid them as much as possible. I've encountered so many of them on the courts, my first reaction is to ignore them and stay quiet. But when someone really gets in my nerves or becomes offensive to me or to the other players, that's when I counterpunch. One time I lost my patience and told this guy to shut his big mouth. The guy never trash talked again, at least not when he's playing with me.

Wow, For sure, you generate a lot of power on your serves. It also sounds like you do this consistently. Hmmm... madalang lang nakakagawa nyan sa level namin na recreational players. I also remember you posting and asking who got this kind of serve (quote below). Ikaw pala mismo ganun ang serve. Unfortunately, at 0-8, that also means you failed to hold your 2 service games. ui cnu n kya mag serve ng after bounce s court deretso s pader ... ung pataas prin ung bola

Dito sa amin 3 lang kilala ko na nakakagawa ng ganyang service pero isa lang lagi sabi nila... masakit sa likod yun ah....
Sa amin style ng trash talking pag 1st serve mo fault, maririnig mo sa kalaban double fault coming, sasagut kakampi niya thank you....

Pabayaan mo lang pag may nagtathrash talk. hehehe yong iba nga ngsaside comment pa. pagganun ginagawa, tatalikod ako at tatawa kc, the strategy is working. ang sarap ng feeling! lalo na pagdi nakuha ang dropshots at topspin lob. magroroll ng eyes, hahampasin ang raketa, hahaha yong smash nya napupunta sa net, tapos magsasalita, "puro kc lob" at maririnig mo pa. nagpaparinig ka ba? ang sarap ng feeling pagganun. sa tennis naman, depende kc kung anong player ka. kung gusto mo puro power, magrally na lang tayo, o di kya sabihin mo magpractice na lang sia ng serve at iwanan mo sia court, at wag ka na makipaglaro dun.  |
