hi tennisters, just joined in today.  i hope to meet other tennis enthusiasts and improve my game as well.  unfortunately, there are no public or affordable tennis courts here in makati.  either they are membership clubs or exclusive courts.  any suggestion where my group can play?  we are a group of about 10-15 players.  we usually play at ding velayo sports or dapitan tennis.  any courts in pasig, mandaluyong, marikina or san juan?  i would really appreciate it.

Heres a listing I found online...

PASIG, MANDALUYONG AND SAN JUAN AREA

    * Pasig Tennis Club – 3 Courts
    * Valle Verde Country Club – 13 Courts
    * Valle Verde Phase I – 1 Court
    * Valle Verde Phase II – 1 Court
    * Valle Verde Phase III – 4 Courts
    * Valle Verde Phase IV – 1 Court
    * Valle Verde Phase V – 2 Courts
    * Valle Verde Phase IV – 1 Court
    * Mandaluyong Tennis Club – 2 Courts
    * Mental Mandaluyong Tennis Club – 2 Courts
    * Greenwoods Subdivision, Pasig City – 2 Courts
    * Pioneer Highland Condominium, Mandaluyong – 2 Courts
    * Shangrila Plaza Hotel EDSA, Mandaluyong  – 2 Courts
    * Aluir Tennis Club, San Juan – 2 Courts
    * North Greenhills Tennis Courts – 2 Courts
    * Club Filipino, North Greenhills – 2 Courts

http://www.pinoytennisonline.com/forum/index.php?topic=1000.0;wap2

Am not sure if the list is necessarily exhaustive.

I've played at the Pioneer Highlands condo tennis since I used to live there, and they only have 1 rubberized hard court, not two as the list claims.  The courts are by reservation though and there is no parking unless you park at Robinson's mall across the street.

I've also played at the Mandaluyong Tennis Club at the Mandaluyong City Hall at rotunda at the end of Boni Avenue.  Membership is cheap last time I joined, but there are lots of players so depending on when you go there could be a long wait.  The courts are rubberized hard courts.

I also played once at the Mental Mandaluyong Tennis Club at the Mental Hospital.  They have shell courts there.

I live in QC now in a subdivision which fortunately has 2 shell tennis courts, I was so happy to learn that. Smiley

Big group you have there, hope you find a place to play.  Maybe I can join you guys one of these days, I'm just a B player.

Happy New Year!

You can play in Valle Verde if you live there or if you know a member from Valle Verde. Kung nde you cannot play there. Sana they will open their courts for non guests.

Hi Tennis Princess,

Do you know how much is the membership fee in Mandaluyong Mental Hospital Tennis Club?

I'm interested to join their club there!

Thanks....
