since i believe we can qualify the active members according to geographic locations, maybe it is possible to set a tournament whose participants are grouped based on locations, just like what was suggested in another thread team cavite team laguna team manila team qc team pasig team what ever...(just add if it is not yet listed all we need to do is list our names based on our locations so we could know who would be part of the team (copy paste niyo na lang) the singles would count as a challenge match as well as the doubles, thus increasing our points at www.tennisengine.commaybe we could follow the davis cup format the competing team will play two singles, then doubles (singles palyers may opt to do the doubles or find set up another doubles team) though in singles, playes a and B must be named before the game and pairings for the singles must be done by random picking team that losses is immediately eliminated bracketing may be based on tennisengine.com seeding (to entice as many members to do challenge matches and thus reflect the actual ranking based on capabilities and not on the number of tournaments,  |

or if ayaw niyo ng lo cation based pairing...why not we opt to chooose a partner, e.g. xerxes/ruud , pedro/premium or premium/danny, para mas maganda ang pairing, yun nga lang, players will play one singles match and a doubles match

agree, para lahat ng games e counted sa tennis engine, kasi medyo limited yung challenge matches e, tapos same people are doing challenge matches, so yung current ra nking is not reflective of the actual playing levels of players
with this tournament, everybody will have a chance to collect points

yikes, i suck at doubles.. well, i don't like playing doubles.. may option naman na yung singles players e wag maglaro ng doubles e like the player may not have the tenacity needed for 3 setter matches, so he may opt to play doubles.. better din if a team location can bring a lady player para may mixed games din tayo |

if we could have eight teams, maybe we could have a go pwede na rin siguro six teams bracketing, 3 per bracket, then single round robin, top teams will paly for the championship pag eight teams, 4 each, playing single round, then top two teams in each, wil compete (semi-finals), then top two teams for the finals, pwede rin na top teams lang final na agad in two saturdays, or a saturday and a sunday, tapos ito that is, if everybody is free on the sched  |

nasan na yung mga taga ups? sali ako sa team parañaque. Matagal akong di nakapagpost dito, busi kasi sa trabaho coz yung isa sa company na hinhawakan ko is under BIR audit. Pero syempre, di pwedeng walang tennis, sa Pacita Complex ako naglalaro pag Saturdays at sa UP Teachers' Village naman every Sunday. |
