Thanks for posting this. I am meeting some friends in Parañaque this morning. I'll see the games after that.

Normally, buong araw ang games dahil 5 lang ang courts and madaming games.  Of course, it is best to go at around 10:00 a.m. until mga 3:00 p.m.  Olivarez College is located in Sucat Road before Shoemart Sucat, after Evacom (in Las Pinas).

Olivarez stamps class (From Manila Bulletin dated 13 Aug. 2006)

TOP SEED Shannin Olivarez overpowered Critabelle Paulino, 6-0, 6-1, yesterday to reach the girls’ 12-under semifinals in the Olivarez Age Group Tennis Championships at the Olivarez Sports Center in Parañaque City.

The 12-year-old Olivarez will next meet Tamitha Nguyen, who scored a 7-5, 6-4 victory over Crizabelle Paulino in the other quarterfinal match.

Olivarez, a grade 7 student at the Brent International School in Biñan, Laguna, is eyeing her fourth title this year. She won the Olivarez Cup in May, Philta Classic-San Pablo Cup in April and Andrada Cup in January.

Meanwhile, second seed Patsy Orteza defeated Samantha Coyiuto, 6-1, 64, to advance to the girls’ 12-under semifinals against unranked Ericka Lagura, who upset fourth seed Joana Pena, 6-7, 6-4 (10-8).

In the boys’ division, top seed Mark Balce outclassed No. 8 Perene Alina, 6-1, 6-1, to gain the 16-under semifinals against No. 5 Jose Lorenzo Opulencia, who eliminated No. 4 Kyle Cordero, 6-1, 6-1.

Cordero bounced back in the 14-under division as the top seed downed No. 8 Tavyn Libao, 6-1, 6-0. Joining Talatayod in the next round were No. 2 Jose Lorenzo Ferrer, a 6-2, 6-2 winner over No. 5 Dheo Talatayod, and No. 3 Leander Lazaro, who beat No. 7 John Ribaya, 6-1, 6-0.

Talatayod, seeded No. 1 in the 12-under class, downed No. 5 Jose Lorenzo Ferrer, 6-1, 6-3, for a semifinals date with No. 3 Arjohn dela Cruz, who survived No. 7 Mark Escares, 7-5, 7-6 (10-3). Also advancing was No. 6 Juan Alfonso Opulencia, who rallied past unranked John Ribaya, 0-6, 6-4 (10-2).

In the unisex 10-under class, No. 8 Trina Orteza ousted second seed Vince Salas, 2-6, 6-4 (10-6), to advance in the semifinals against No. 3 Ericka Lagura, a 6-2, 6-3 winner over No. 7 Joachim Samson. Fourth seed Argil Canizares beat No. 5 Jed Olivarez, 6-4, 6-2, to advance against No. 1 Mark Escares, who won by default over No. 6 Claudio Canlas. —Jean MALANUM

Thanks for the info.  Cool
It appears Manila Bulletin did not cover all the completed matches yesterday though. Example is on the 14-under division where Cordero advances to the finals after beating Peña in the semifinals. Cordero will face the winner of the Ferrer-Lazaro match which should have concluded also yesterday.
But of course this is much better than what I had yesterday. Hehehe... Smiley So I think this is fine. Grin

You should be able to find news on the broadsheets, at least on Manila Bulletin, Inquirer and Star.
