Hi everyone, I'm searching for an open Class C / B singles tennis tournament w/in the metro. Does anyone know one? I want to experience a lot of tournaments to hone my tactics on the court especially when under pressure. Please help me find one...

Unless you're a member of a tennis club finding a Tournament for Class C and Class B players will be very hard to find. It's not that no one wants to organize such an event pero mahirap kasi mag classify ng players. Wala pa kasing official, accurate and organized classification system ng tennnis players dito sa pinas, especially for players lower than Class A.

It's easier than you think. Kung aasa ka lang sa self classification, hindi magiging balanse yung tournamanet kasi pwede lang sabihing class c or class b sila. Unless there is an official classification system for all tennis players.

Dito sa club namin regular ang singles tournaments for different classes. Try joining a club na sa tingin mo madami rin batang myembro. Dun tyak madami kang makakalaro.

what satisfaction would those people that would lie about their playing level get? its just plain stupid. if someone would organize a class c/b tournament without cash prize, lying about your level would seem pointless. its not about the prize.. its about the experience.

Pero dont worry, i think may plan si Bob magorganize ng something.  Nag organize na kasi ako dati ng C tournament... sakit s ulo hehe.  Pde ka rin mag organize if you would like

They just don't want to over rate themselves and in the end be judged as nagmamagaling. How would you feel if you see someone who claims to be Class A and yet is obviously Class C?

Unless there's a national classification system, a Class C or Class B Tournament without borders is not feasible. Such tournaments in clubs work because people know each other and the level of play of each member.

Maybe we can work something like this out. Those who are interested in joining a Class C and B Tournament please add your name to the list. We can then scout for a venue and sponsors for the trophies. One weekend, saturday and sunday is sufficient.

DW   at 56ers we will come up with a scheme that all those PTO members  who like to test there playing capacity will have a chance we will open 56ers tennis club to those who are interested to join a 1 day challenge match paly from 7am onwards ..just wait for the posting of schedules.. i understand that there are alot of members who are interested on this.

Yes Sir Addie, isa na ako jan. Minsan lng talaga ako dumaan jan sa 56 at gus2 ko challenge na agad pagpunta. Though 1-2 sets singles lng kaya ko e. yan lng effective stamina at playing level ko. Pero sir parang - "fellow pto members, this scheme is to test your skills how far can you hold up with the level of 56ers playing level" hehehe. Ok yan sir sali ako jan.

In tounaments like this, knock-out ang susundin. so pag natalo ka wala na. You'll only be playing more games pag tuloy tuloy ang panalo. Yes, stamina is indeed a factor.
