2nd URDANETA CITY OPEN MENS DOUBLES TOUNAMENTGENERAL INFORMATION
I. DATE OF TOURNAMENT
May 16, Saturday and May 17, Sunday 2009
II. PLAYING SCHEDULE
The Tournament Committee has the sole discretion to determine the match ups and schedules to ensure fairness and competitiveness of the teams.
III. QUALIFICATION
Participants must be physically fit.
IV. METHOD OF COMPETITION
1. Format is DOUBLES. One partner must be 49 years old or below and the other partner must be 50 years old or above, or Both partners are 50 years old and above.
Participants are advised to bring documents such as birth certificates in case their age eligibility is questioned.
2. Ten Games (1-10) per match will be played from 1st round to quarterfinals. 9-all will merit slide2 and the usual tie-break will ensue incase of 10-all.Semi-final and championship matches shall be played in 2 out of 3 sets.
3. Other pertinent rules will be given during the briefing. However, all matters and conditions not provided for will be referred to the PHILTA Rules should there be any question or dispute.

VI. PRIZES
Winners shall get the following:
CHAMPION – P8,000. + TROPHY
RUNNER-UP – P4,000. + TROPHY
