The courts in alvir...(San Juan City) are operational. In fact there is an ongoing
weekend tournament winding up this sunday(Dec. 9). Very few play there during weekdays
specially late afternoon and in the evening. Regulars play mostly mornings , specially
weekends. Hope to see you there...

If you are looking for a hard court, outdoor open court, with good lighting at night you can visit our court in Quezon City, even if its an open court, esp at this season of the year, it almost always tennis weather, its not hot to play.  You  don't have to queue to play, unlike other tennis courts which are densely populated, there is a hitting partner if you need one and ball boys.

If you are interested to play just notify me, and I can make arrangements.  Below are the details if you are interested

Tennis Club Name:  BARANGAY IMELDA TENNIS CLUB (BITC)
Contact No.:  Sorry no phone number but we have a website
Website : http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group/ImeldaTennisClub/
Address: Guirayan St., Barangay Dona Imelda, QC.  Guiranyan street is parallel to Araneta Ave. if you are coming from SM Centerpoint in Sta. Mesa, along Araneta Ave. the land mark to turn right going to the court is Chinabank. You should not reach E.Rodriguez. Guirayan St. is before E. Rodriguez
Number of Courts: one (1)
Surface: (Indoor or Outdoor)  outdoor court / hard
Not Exclusive for members and open to guests
Court Rates: (with and without lights) Very Affordable, trust me
Ballboy Fee: P20/game lang
Hitting partner's Fee: Can be arranged with him

Yes, there are players in the morning. most of the players there are morning players. what i can suggest is for you to visit them on weekdays, there are plenty of players on saturday and sunday morning.   The personally know the president of RASAC just let me know if you want me to hook you up with them.

there are other tennis courts near that area, there is one inside san lazaro hospital, 2 courts, shell court and another one abad santos, the name is reina regente tennis court. Where do you live? what is the most accessible place to you ?

Or if you really want to play where there are lesser queue you can visit our club, Barangay Imelda Tennis Club, i can set you up with our players there. you can visit our website for more info.

Please send me an e-mail if you need more info.  i can invite you to join our website, ok?  any help that i can offer please let me know.

Thanks... Tennis Princess

Hi Tennis Princess,

"wisely" into your advantage.  For those who know this court, you know what i mean. Grin Grin Grin

Hi Tennis Princess,

Dati nakalaro ako sa Rasac, kaibigan ko dati ang presidente doon, Dante ang first name, kaliwete yata at medyo komika, pero ang friend ko dati doon, si Mang Boy, player ng Gintong Alay or coach yata dati ng sipak takraw, siya ang umasikaso sa akin pag napunta ako sa Rasac, well, that time Gintong Alay time pa, Mike Keon era noon, baka wala na si Dante, (Sta. Cruz yata ang last name niya) at si Mang Boy.

Hi Alnielle,

Sad hehe.

Tpos the rest of the week friendly palo palo with PTO members hehe.

Hi Alnielle,

Sad hehe.

Hi, rev4maite.

Here are the tennis courts near your area or within that north harbor/roxas blvd area :

1) Del pan, 2 open shell courts
2) DPWH, 2 open shell courts
3) Manila Hotel
4) Jusmag near Harbor View, in Luneta - open shell court also
5) Diamond Hotel
6) Westin Philippine Plaza - used to be synthetic grass and plastic courts.
7) CCP near parking areas
Cool Rizal - several open hard courts

Hope these info helps ! and i hope we can play some time.  Just send me an email if you want to play...

Best regards,
Tennis Princess

Maganda din pala ang Villamor. Walang masyadong bad bounce ung court. Ok naman yung ventilation. Pwede sa guests at yung pinaka court manager nila madaling kausap. Reasonable din rates.

Ang problema ko lang hindi mo makita yung service box at baseline from the other end of the court. Grin

correct ka darkwing, kahit kami nun nag transfer kami from rizal to villamor dahil sa ulan, nanibago kaming lahat nde ko talaga makita un service line, kaya puro double fault ako, pero ok dun un  ngalang pag walang car mahirap pumunta at going home, lalakarin mo up to the gate, Undecided

Heheheh Grin Grin, if you're playing in Villamor, play at the new courts and not the old one.

On the old one kasi, they're still using the old way of marking the lines by putting chalks..... Grin Grin Grin

As for the new courts, before playing, tell the ballboy to clean first the lines before you play.
By the way, the lines in the new courts are made of cement so expect that the bounce will change if
the ball hits the lines.  Grin Grin Grin

As for the SGT at the gate, no comment ako doon  Grin Grin Grin
Just follow the rules if you really want to go inside the base..... Grin Grin Grin Grin
